The 2013 Juneteenth Music Festival marks the return of the Miss Juneteenth Music Festival Pageant. We are looking for young ladies freshmen in high school up to 21 years in age that exemplify the highest commitment to scholarship, service and their community.
The ARTwalk is a unique opportunity for the community experience the areas arts community highlight their visual arts achievements. As a part of the Juneteenth Music Festival, the Art Walk celebrates the artists’ creativity from across the region.
The Northeast Denver (YEZ) is a collaboration that connects schools, community agencies, parents, youth and residents in a concerted effort to support widespread youth civic engagement through a sustainable, integrated system for service learning .
Kicking off with its Annual Parade, 2,500 parade participants, including Mayor Michael Hancock, Chief of Police Robert White, Emmy Nominated actress Alfree Wodard, state and local political officials, VIPs and community leaders participated. The festivities ended with a performance by The Ohio Players.
